Bay Area Asian Rendezvous Events affectionately known as Baare was founded in May 2003 by Linda Kong and Steven Choi. Baare organizes cool events for single Asian professionals.

Linda Kong
Linda Kong was born and raised in Canada. After graduation, she worked in London and Paris as an actuarial analyst. Two years later, she arrived in Chicago. During her time there, she worked as an actuarial analyst with an insurance company, obtained her MBA from Kellogg, took improv comedy classes at Second City, enjoyed stuffed pizza, met Oprah Winfrey...
