New! Q: I have attended some of your events and have met some really great people. Most participants are professionals that have interesting backgrounds and interests. However, sometimes the chemistry isn't quite there with someone but I would like to know that person as a friend. Should I mark them a yes or a no?

A: It's great to hear that you‚re meeting interesting people at our events! Again, a "yes" usually means that you would like to meet with them again to continue your conversation or to just hang out. When there is a match between two participants; and, if one party wants to keep it at a friend level then it would be advisable to just meet at a "non-date" setting such as a café, bar, or to do a group activity together. In the beginning of any type of relationship, you can never go wrong with just getting to know each other as friends.

Remember, don't ask for last names or contact information. Don't ask someone for a date on the spot!
