This
was a time of self-discovery for me. I fell in love with the multi-cultural
Bay Area and found life sciences and business to be absolute passions
of mine.
After
grad-school, I made a trek across the Atlantic Ocean to Dublin,
Ireland to study medicine. It was here that I made friendships
from all over the world and learned to value cultural differences
and political views.
It
was also here that I learned the true fragility of a human life
and the many unseen dangers of our present archaic medical systems.
Finally, returning back to San Francisco, the best darn city in
the world (my humble opinion), I decided to put my medical background
and business contacts to the test, and built a medical
informatics company.
Our
business uses modern technologies to streamline the potholes of
the medical information highway. In medicine, I've learned that
we are born and we will die, but what we do in between is what
counts.

Speed Dating Interview
Baare: What role do you fulfill in your circle of friends?
Francis: I'd have to say joker for the most part. I love
lightening the mood and making people laugh. In my circle of friends,
its all about having fun with each other. I usually make rude
jokes and I make no apologies for it. This is totally opposite
from my personality when I was at the hospital or when I'm working
at my company. My friends will probably never see this part of
me, and that's perfect.
Baare: What is your most identifiable trait?
Francis: I think that would have to be my nickname: Smiles.
Since it's what everyone identifies me with, that is probably
my most memorable feature. I love to smile; it makes my day better
and sometimes it can even brighten someone else's day. I truly
believe that smiling is the second best thing to do with your
lips.
Baare: What three traits do you look for in a girlfriend?
Francis: 1) Caring and nurturing nature, so we would be
there for each other even through the tough times. 2) Physical
attraction, (not talking super models), but that we find attraction
with each other to express ourselves physically. 3) Mental stimulation,
so that we can help each other grow and develop a mutual respect
for one another.
