Baare Speed Dating Interview

Baare: What do you wish you could learn more about?
Lou: I’d like to spend more time traveling to new countries to learn about other cultures and how people live throughout the rest of the world. I really enjoyed Costa Rica it offered so many diverse things to do and see; trekking along a volcano, white water rafting and visiting the rainforest. I try to at least travel internationally once a year. Anyone want to join me?

Baare: What is something about you that would surprise most people?
Lou: I was a real geek growing up!!! I had thick glasses, braces, and worst of all--- a head gear! I read a lot and didn’t get into sports. I just decided to get into sports in high school to overcome my insecurities (which also coincided with the removal of my braces, head gear and a growth spurt). In addition, there is something else that not a lot of people know about me… but you will have to attend the BAARE event to find out!

Baare: If dinner and a movie were banned from a first date, what would you do instead?
Lou: I’d take my date on a picnic along with some wine tasting…then go hiking or go for a walk near the beach and finish with some horseback riding…

Baare: How would your friends describe you?
Lou: My friends and family would characterize me as a fun, romantic, considerate, generous and confident person. I like someone who is quick enough to be playful and feisty with me; someone who challenges me in many ways and can keep up with a fun and active lifestyle. That's not to say I'm always on the move because I definitely like spending QT relaxing at home, watching TV/movies with a nice bottle of wine or cocktail.

Baare: What traits do you look for in a girlfriend, in other words, what will help create that “chemistry”?
Lou: Someone with an interest in spontaneous travel, entrepreneurial ventures, trying new things is someone I will connect with well. In addition, it’s important that she be family oriented, loyal, articulate and knows what she wants out of life. Overall, I really subscribe to the idea that if you're with the right person it doesn't really matter what it is you're doing-- in the past I've had a blast doing laundry and washing dishes because it was with the right person—after all, it's all about the chemistry, right?
